Chris Martignago is Vice President of A&R at Prescription Songs, based in Nashville, where he is recognized for developing award-winning creative talent and shaping commercially successful music. With over 14 years of experience, he began his career in 2012 helping to establish the A&R Research department at Atlantic Records before joining Prescription Songs in 2021.
Throughout his career, Martignago has worked on gold and platinum-certified releases for artists including Paramore, Marshmello, Saweetie, Stephen Sanchez, and Rainbow Kitten Surprise. His current roster features Grammy-nominated and critically acclaimed songwriters and producers such as Anderson East, Trent Dabbs, JT Daly, Nick Lobel, Tony Esterly, Brett Truitt, Josie Dunne, Dominique Sanders, & Derik Fein.
He is also the founder of HELL YES!, an online community and event platform supporting emerging songwriters through showcases, camps, and partnerships like PLAYBACK which is a listening event with Wes Davenport. Martignago continues to expand Prescription’s Nashville presence through innovative signings and a commitment to artist development.
