Christina Rentz is the Label Manager of Merge Records, based in Durham, North Carolina. In over 20 years with the label, she has worn many hats including publicity, marketing, radio promotion, social media, event planning and more. Merge Records is known for successful releases from their flagship band Superchunk along with the Magnetic Fields, Spoon, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Caribou, and with recent releases from bands like the Mountain Goats, the New Pornographers, Hiss Golden Messenger, Fruit Bats and many more.
