Artist Relations & Digital Strategy Leader

Jason Kpana is a seasoned music industry executive with over 25 years of experience spanning A&R operations, digital strategy, artist relations, and brand partnerships. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Artist & Label Relations at TIDAL, where he was a driving force behind its global artist engagement strategy.

Since joining TIDAL in 2015, Jason played a pivotal role in shaping the streaming service’s cultural footprint—spearheading the TIDAL RISING program, overseeing live events like TIDAL X Brooklyn and the TIDAL stage at the Made in America Festival in addition to leading collaborations with major brands such as Meta, T-Mobile, Mercedes-Benz, and Amazon. His efforts also included developing campaigns and programs in partnership with Roc Nation, including the launch of the NFL’s “Songs of the Season.”

Following TIDAL’s acquisition by Block, Jason helped navigate the company’s transition under new ownership, aligning artist relations strategy with Block’s broader mission of economic empowerment and creator equity. He worked cross-functionally with teams at Cash App and Square to pioneer music-integrated campaigns such as Kim Shui’s NYFW activation and their annual Global Block Parties.

Recognized for his ability to build trust within the creative community, Jason has represented both TIDAL and Block on national stages including the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference, the ADCOLOR Everywhere Conference and Block’s company-wide Inclusion & Diversity Day. A trusted advisor, connector, and advocate for artists, he remains committed to advancing innovation, equity, and culture within the global music ecosystem.
