Maronda “Lyric” T’Pring is an established, entertainment-focused administrator with a plethora of notable experience. Lyric is the founder and owner of iAMaSONGwriter, where she and her team work with an array of artists, singer-songwriters, producers, musicians, managers, publishers and labels, helping them with all administrative demands and needs. As a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Lyric has the knowledge to prepare her clients for success. In addition to her formal training, she has had the opportunity to work with industry trendsetters all over the world.
Lyric believes everyone needs to learn and know their rights so that they may know their worth to engage in doing fair business; that every song has meaning and a rewarding purpose. Her mantra is “Accuracy. Advocacy. Transparency. Lyric provides all levels of administrative services including the application for basic copyrights, song registration with Performing Rights Organizations, song encoding and contract interpretation. She also provides the artist with the necessary basic contracts and agreements to secure and safeguard all intellectual properties and initial legalities (i.e. ownership song split agreements).
Lyric works as the Assoc Music Supervisor/ Music Coordinator for Paragon Film Music, alongside its founder, Jabari Ali, a 25+ year seasoned music vet, guild-nominated, film and television Music Supervisor. Together, they have successfully executed on the following shows: Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga S3 (2023) Paramount+ Infinite (2021), OWN/HBOMAX David Makes Man (2019/2021), BET’S South Central Love (2019), Equalizer 2 (2018) and FOX TV Series “Shots Fired”(2017).
