Misha Fair

.

Misha Fair is a rising voice in Americana, fusing alt-country, folk, gospel, bluegrass, and rock into a sound that’s both deeply rooted and unmistakably her own. With powerhouse vocals and emotionally resonant songwriting, she delivers a fresh take on Southern storytelling—bold, soulful, and grounded in truth.

The granddaughter of influential R&B pioneer Chuck Willis—whose songs have been recorded by legends like Elvis Presley, Conway Twitty, Wanda Jackson, and Ray Charles—Misha carries a rich musical legacy into a new generation. She grew up in the legendary studios of Atlanta, surrounded by icons like Isaac Hayes and the SOS Band, singing Dolly Parton and Patsy Cline by kindergarten.

Her early talent led to a vocal scholarship in college, where she also studied linguistics—adding the rare ability to write and perform in multiple languages to her artistic toolbox. After interning with Wondaland Arts Society and working alongside Janelle Monáe at the start of her career, she went on to collaborate with genre-blurring artists like Blanco Brown, Breland, Demun Jones, and Yelawolf.

Misha calls her sound “deep-fried in folk, gospel, and bluegrass”—a blend of tradition and modern edge, rooted in Southern soul. Authentic, genre-defying, and full of fire, she’s carving her own lane in the Americana landscape—and turning heads at every stop.
