Originally from Washington, D.C., and a proud graduate of Barber-Scotia College, Mr. Incognito began his radio journey in 1996 as an intern at Power 98, learning under legendary broadcasters Nate Quick and Artie “The One Woman Party.”
Through hard work, consistency, talent, and a willingness to learn every side of the business, Mr. Incognito worked his way through the ranks—from production and mix-show DJ to becoming Program Director for both Power 98 and V101.9.
Today, he continues to be a familiar voice across Charlotte as the weekday midday host on Power 98, while his signature mixes keep listeners moving throughout the day.
With decades invested in radio, entertainment, mentorship, and community, Mr. Incognito has become part of the fabric of Charlotte’s urban radio culture. His contributions to Black radio have also earned recognition from the Charlotte Chapter of the National Black Radio Hall of Fame.
