Vince grew up on the Southeast side of Chicago. In 1997, after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a degree and aspirations in advertising and marketing, Vince’s career path in the music industry began to take shape. Shortly after securing a first job in the marketing field, the opportunity arose to manage the band Umphrey’s McGee—a role that continues to this day. Over the years, management expanded to include several other notable acts, such as Yonder Mountain String Band, TAUK, and Little Stranger. Beyond artist management, a passion for education led to the creation and teaching of a music business-focused course within the Arts Management program at the College of Charleston.
Vince’s career in the music business has also been defined by producing destination events around the world. In the early 2000s, a pioneering role was played in developing the now-popular beach concert resort takeover model through the early iterations of the Holidaze event. From 2007 to 2021, Holidaze found a home at multiple resorts in Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico, setting the standard for immersive music vacation experiences.
International event production continued with the creation of Jam in the Dam in Amsterdam, which ran successfully from 2005 to 2010. In 2022, the concept expanded to Iceland with Rokyavik in Reykjavik, and in April 2025, the journey took fans to Marrakesh, Morocco, for Morrockshow. These events reflect a career-long commitment to curating unique, global experiences that bring music communities together in unforgettable settings.
From artist management to groundbreaking destination festivals, Vince’s career has been dedicated to shaping the live music landscape while fostering meaningful connections between artists and their audiences worldwide.
